Return Policy
If you are unsatisfied with a product purchased from CMA, you may return the item for credit or replacement. You must contact us within 30 days of receipt of your shipment to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions to facilitate the return process. Products returned without an RMA number will be subject to a $150 decontamination and processing fee.
All returned products are subject to inspection and approval by CMA prior to issuing credit or replacement. Products must be in original manufacturer’s packaging and include all instructions, manuals, and inserts. Products returned in new condition may be charged a 15% restocking fee or a minimum of $30.00. Products not in saleable condition will be returned to the customer or assessed a refurbishment fee. There are NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS ON CUSTOM ORDERS.
Product Returns
CMA Microdialylsis will provide full credit for the following:
• Items not supplied in accordance with your order
• Items that are defective at the time of receipt
• Items being exchanged for similar or greater value
Returns not acceptable for credit include:
• Custom orders
• Outdated, shelf-worn, damaged, or used items
• Chemicals or sterile items that have been opened
• Items that have been exposed to harmful, toxic or hazardous substances
Product Repairs
If your product is out of warranty and requires repair, you must obtain an RMA to facilitate the return process. All repairs are subject to the following:
• Repair orders charged on a time and materials basis
• $150 per hour for labor with a $150 minimum labor charge
• All repairs are performed on a first in/first out basis, after receipt of a valid form of payment
• Estimates available upon request
• Some older products may not be repairable due to component obsolescence
Return Procedure
In the event that you need to return a product to CMA Microdialysis (for return, repair or disposal), please follow the instructions below.
All returns must be accompanied by a copy of our Return Authorization Form (RMA). To initiate a return, contact CMA or your local distributor to obtain an RMA number.

• Probes and Guides: lot number and model
• Instruments covered by warranty: instrument serial number and model available for this.
• Instruments out of warranty: purchase order number, instrument serial number and instrument model for the repair on your return form.

• Instrument Disposal:if the instrument has reached the end of its serviceable life and you would like to return it to CMA for disposal,
please contact CMA Microdialysis by e-mail.
Step 1:
Complete and submit the Return Materials Authorization Form to order@microdialysis.se to obtain a returns authorization number. This number needs to be written clearly on the outside of your returns package. Please do not send your package to us until you have received a returns authorization number.
Step 2:
Download, complete and sign a Declaration of Contamination Status Form and include this certificate with your package. Please put one copy of this on the outside and a second copy inside of your package.
Note: Instruments which are returned without a decontamination certificate will not be processed. This could result in significant delays and additional administration charges for your repair.
IMPORTANT: For returns outside the EU, please complete your commercial invoices, making sure that you indicate the true commercial value of the return. Please also state the following on your invoice, if applicable: “Temporary Import – Item Returning to Supplier for repair”.
Step 3:
Send the package to CMA Microdialysis per instructions from the Returns/Repairs department using your own carrier. The goods being returned must be securely packaged and in a manner to prevent damage during transit.
